After teaching Social Studies for 34 years, I retired in 2016. I started researching and updating my ancestors. Along the way, I found some incredible stories in the cemeteries.

So I started writing articles for local newspapers and they were well received. One weekly story in one newspaper grew to four different stories in four different counties. Along the way, I started this website and it all came together in the writing of a book.
